Highlighting the communicative potential of art, this duo exhibition emphasises the significance of human rights acknowledgement and its universality. Moonmanas’ body of work explored a wide range of human rights issues, including women’s rights, disability rights, education rights, labour rights, freedom of religion or belief, and rights of equality and non-discrimination. The artists intentionally present the artworks in a clear and visually appealing manner, as they intend for them to be relevant to public engagement. Despite its supposed relevancy and common awareness, the topic of inalienable rights still faces violations and inequality. With the joint proposal of both artists, the exhibition urges visitors to ponder the essential of respecting human rights for human dignity.
